May 30th 2019 – It’s been rumored for months, and Edge hinted it as far back as during a 2017 interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, but U2 and Live Nation have finally announced that they will be touring Australia, New Zealand and East Asia in 2019. Contrary to earlier reports, they will NOT spend Christmas week in Australia. There are first ever shows in South Korea and Singapore.

Venue information and dates for Singapore were not included in today’s announcement, but the rumors of a first ever show in Singapore were confirmed. In addition, there is room for second shows in several venues. Tickets go on sale on June 4th. As usual, U2.com subscribers will have first dibs (Tuesday 4 June through Thursday 6 June) and there will be a ticketless entry system in place in Australia.
