U2 tonight picked up the ‘Global Icon’ Award at The MTV EMA show.
The show took place at Wembley Arena, London – The band dedicated the award to Chris Blackwell, who of course founded Island Records and who celebrated his 80th birthday earlier this year.
Bono burst into song as a part of the acceptance speech with a little bit of Stormzy’s ‘Blinded By Your Grace Pt. 2’
