U2 has been confirmed as a performer at the 2018 Grammy awards on January 28th. A cryptic social media comment by Adam Clayton recently hinted that U2 would be in attendance, so this confirms what fans already knew was likely. U2 is among the all-time biggest winners at the Grammys with a band-record 22 awards, including winning the three most prestigious awards, album of the year, song of the year and record of the year, twice each. U2 also owns the “Best Rock Performance” award with 7 wins. No word on what they will perform, but Kendrick Lemar was announced as a performer in the same bulletin from Billboard, so it’s possible one of their collaborations will be included.
