Quashing rumors that U2 would play Slane Castle in 2018, sources tell multiple Irish media outlets that the band will again play the 3Arena, in October, with multiple nights depending on demand. There was no confirmation of the rumored Belfast dates. As in 2015, the band will once again modify their stage design for the 3Arena, which isn’t large enough to hold the entire E&I set.
